The classes will introduce the potter to the three basic techniques of hand building – Pinch, Coil and Slab construction.

How it Works:

1. The classes are for the whole family, everyone gets to play in the mud.
2. There are 4 class sessions, and each will meet once a week for 4 weeks. (For example, if you sign up for the Tuesday session. You will then come every Tuesday for 4 weeks in June.)
3. The clay takes about 4 weeks to dry before it can be fired in the kiln. You can come back any time after its fired to do your glazing.    
4. If you miss a class, I will have make-up days in July. But we may have to change the way it is finished depending on how dry the clay is when you work on it.
5. Remember we are working with clay, dress appropriately.
6. No children under the age of 16 without an adult.
